Jeremy and Rebekah Simpson
Executive Directors Dr. Jeremy Simpson, Pastor of Thanks to Calvary Baptist Church, in Elkin, NC and his wife Rebekah Simpson have together been in full-time ministry for 22 years. In January 2017, the Lord fulfilled one of their dreams by allowing them to establish Mercy and Truth Ministries. It is their heart’s desire to “Put a little sunshine in someone’s life!” Their prayer is that through this ministry many will come to know the Lord as their personal Savior and realize that God’s Word is the Hope for Wilkes, Yadkin and Surry Counties and ultimately America!
Vice President Marty Roberts is the VP/GM of Rid-A-Bug Exterminating Co. Inc. located in Hamptonville NC since 2011 and has been working in this family business since 1984. Marty graduated from East Wilkes High School in 1990. He is presently an active member in the NPMA and NCPMA where he serves on the board of NCPMA and on a committee for NPMA Wildlife. He currently serves as president of the Buck Shoals Voluntary Fire Dept.
Jeremiah and Brianna Simpson
Jeremiah was raised in a pastor’s home. His entire life has been dedicated to helping others who had nothing to offer him in return knowing that is the example Jesus Christ left for us to follow. He is also a preacher of the Gospel and his heart’s desire is to bring hope, through God’s word, to people that think their situation is hopeless. Jeremiah is married to Brianna Simpson who currently serves as the Mercy and Truth Ministries Secretary.
Robert and Libby Price
Robert and Libby Price are the owners and operators of Price’s Lawn & Maintenance and Price Power Equipment in Elkin, NC. They have been married since 1978 and both came to know Jesus Christ as their savior in April of 1983 just after the birth of their second child. They both have a large heart for the local community and are very excited about the opportunity to help bring light into the tri-county area. Libby is the volunteer coordinator for Mercy and Truth. Robert serves on the Mercy and Truth Ministries Board.
Tim Parks retired in December of 2018 as Police Chief after serving the town for 20 years. Parks has been in law enforcement for 35 years, serving 27 of those in Yadkinville. As of the year 2020, Tim serves on the Board of Education for Yadkin County. He now serves as a Board Member of Mercy and Truth Ministries, as well.
